We understand that when going on holiday somewhere, you might want to get out and about and explore the area. We’ve put together a list of a few of our favourite activities in the local area. All of which, of course, involves being outside and getting amongst nature. And if it happens to rain, that must mean its a board games and hot choccy kind of day!
Spend the day having fun on the river in one of our canoes. Canoeing is great for relaxation and or exercise. Take in the surrounding beauty of the outdoors while enjoying time with family and friends.
At Stuart’s Point, you are spoiled for choice with fishing spots. You can fish at the jetty, the beach or the river. There is a wide variety of fish to be caught too.
Stuart’s Point Convention Centre is surrounded by beautiful beaches. A short 10 minute walk will take you straight out to the beach. Scott’s Head beach is just a short drive away, where you can also visit idyllic cafe’s.
Our centre is located along the banks of the Macleay River. The Macleay River is the perfect place to spend the day swimming, kayaking, and relaxing in the sun.
Take a day trip to explore the beautiful National Park. Enjoy a rainforest walk or a scenic drive with phenomenal coastal views. There’s also a range of picnic and birdwatching spots.
